Memory Care
Our memory care neighborhood in Grand Rapids MN consists of 24 units and is specifically designed with simplified floor plans to accommodate those with memory loss.
Our dedicated and trained dementia staff serves the unique needs of each individual with a personalized care plan that addresses the whole person, considering all aspects of health, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our team strives to learn about the individual and their way of life prior to the diagnosis of memory loss. Each apartment is private and has a bathroom with a walk-in shower and grab bars. We are designed with secure exits and courtyard to offer flexibility for our tenants to move about freely inside and out.
Identifying past careers, hobbies, family life, veteran, etc. allows our team to understand the individual and their way of life prior to the diagnosis of memory loss. Our staff have training beyond the home care basics and are required to complete an in-depth, five-part series on caring for those with dementia and cognitive disorders.
